Hotkeys on YouTube
Hello dear visitors. Today I would like to write a short article in the form of a note both for myself and for my subscribers. I would like to talk about hot keys, which are very convenient to use when watching a video on YouTube. Thanks to these keys, you can quickly perform various functions: adjust the volume of the clip, open it in full screen, rewind and the like.
Here are the shortcuts on YouTube that I use:
The F key is used to open the video in full screen.
Pressing the ESC key returns the window to its original version, that is, to a small window.
The English K key pauses the video. Pressing again continues playback.
You can also use Space to pause the video. It’ll only work this way, if previously we already turned on or paused the video with the mouse. If before that we performed another function, for example, turned on subtitles, then pressing the Spacebar will already be reassigned to the subtitles.
Using the J and L keys, you can rewind the video forward and backward for 10 seconds with one click
Arrow Left ← and Right → rewinds the video 5 seconds back and forward, respectively.
Home starts playing the video again, and End ends the playback and tears off related videos.
By pressing the M key, we completely mute the sound. Re-enable.
The Up and Down arrows increase and decrease the volume by several percent.
In my opinion, these are the most useful hotkeys in YouTube. Most likely there are others. If you use them, then write about them in the comments.
